Ferrari Elder Law

Ferrari Elder Law has two offices, one on South Beneva Road in Sarasota and one in Lake Suzy, and focuses on seniors, people with special needs and their families. Attorneys John L. Ferrari, Jr. and Jeff Ferrari handle estate planning, probate and trust administration, long-term care and Medicaid planning, and guardianship.

The firm represents petitioners and guardians and regularly serves as court-appointed counsel for people alleged to be incapacitated. It also files guardian advocate petitions for adults with developmental disabilities and sets up special needs trusts and ABLE accounts. Veterans' benefits are also among its services.

John Ferrari came to law after a corporate career, and the firm states that he teaches as an adjunct professor at Stetson University College of Law. Jeff Ferrari was raised in Sarasota. Evening and weekend appointments are available, as are visits to homes and care facilities.
